Tim’s Leather journey began about 20 years ago while living in Rochester, NY. Through interaction with the Rochester Rams, he became intrigued with the leather lifestyle, met his SIR and was trained in the ways of the Old Guard. In those “early” days, his travels took him to IML and MAL working as a leather vendor. Having since moved back to his home state of Connecticut in 1999. In 2010 Tim cofounded the CT. Cruisers, a play group that encourages safety and responsibility while providing a safe space for those that wish to explore their inner desires and fetishes and offers education to those new to the lifestyle. He  is the proud SIR to his boy Robert a.k.a. “scruffy” (Mr. New Jersey Leather 2011). Tim has competed at both MAL and IML and is an Associate member of the Jersey boys of Leather. Tim is an avid sailor, loves the beach and enjoys being a photographer. Tim always stresses the most important attributes to carry with you on your leather journey are honesty, integrity and respect….. respect for others but above all respect for yourself.

Manny Son has been part of the leather/kink scene since 2011 when he had a fateful meeting with former Mr. Connecticut Leather 2005 in Provincetown. Being quite literally thrown into the world of leather/kink he embraced this change as it was more-so a natural progression of mental growth. Originally from Philadelphia PA, and now living in the New Haven area with partner George Peet, he spends time in the New Haven community lending support to leather titleholders past-and-present, brothers and sisters alike.

I am pleased and honored to have been asked to represent
Connecticut Leather once again this year as the Master of Ceremonies.  I mostly enjoy getting out and seeing so many wonderful leather men and women in our community. This year like many others has been pretty busy for me, I have a very busy career,
adding to that I have returned to school, and keeping up with our leather family and friends.  This year I have been fortunate to have been asked to return and emcee the Mr CT Bear contest as well as another first time emcee at the Mr Woods Leather contest. I have plans in the works for a future engagement which could be a very big bear event which is coming up early next year. Crossing my fingers on that one!  To the contestants this year, I wish them all the very best of luck! It takes a tremendous set of @#* to stand up and represent not only yourself, but the community.

Rick Daley
Northeast Leather Sir
2007
Rick was born and raised in central Connecticut and continues to live here today. Rick got involved in the leather scene when his MC Club "Wildfire MC" took him on his first leather run to P-town and Mates Leather Weekend in 2006. There he made many friends and through these friends heard of the Mr. Connecticut Leather Contest in which he competed for the 2007 title year. Although he didn't win he became a surrogate brother  which took him from helper, stage manager, treasurer to V.P. of the organization. I have been a proud supporter of many organizations including F.L.A.G., The former Mr. Boston Leather, The NJ Leather Family, The Providence Eagle, Lbone, ILSB, DNA,Ct. Cruisers and The Three gay campgrounds.I continue to mentor and support as many of these as time permits. I currently live with my boy, boy ken of 7 years in Plantsville and work for Connecticut's largest power supplier. It is a pleasure and an honor to be chosen as a judge for this organization which has a huge piece of my heart from the moment I became a part of it 11 years ago.

Tina is a Kinky, Queer, Leather Dyke with a focus on community building. When asked what drives her, Tina replies, “I love my commitments to our community. I recently identified my involvement with organizing leather/kink events as my own personal fetish. I LOVE seeing people connect, have fun and feel a sense of belonging.  I thrive on that.”  Finding leather about a dozen years ago, her early experiences as NDD/s BootCamp Management Staff, a Brimstone Minion and as Director/Founding Board Member of MAsT Wilmington, DE inspired her to take on more leadership roles in the local and national communities. Tina has leveraged the knowledge gained and contacts made Co-Producing the 2014 Leather Leadership Conference-Philadelphia and 2010-2013 Philadelphia Leather Pride Nights into current success with: Philadelphia Leather Alliance – President since 2013, Philadelphia Women’s Leather Bar Nights – Co-Founder/Coordinator since 2013, Mid-Atlantic Leather Woman & Bootblack Contest – Co-Producer since 2015 and Executive Producer for Drummer North America since its inaugural event in 2015. www.DrummerNA.com   As a community influencer, focusing on gender and sexuality inclusion, she made the decision to have the eligibility criteria to compete for North American Drummer, Drummerboy and Drummer Bootblack reflect those values. Her future holds working to further values of inclusion among the communities; including marginalized subsets, continuing to create spaces that foster making kinky, play and sex happen.
